Preparing for your tattoo appointment

Being well-prepared for your appointment can make a big difference for you, me, and your tattoo. Here are some tips to ensure everything goes smoothly and your tattoo heals perfectly:

1. Rest, Eat, and Hydrate: Make sure you're well-rested, have a good meal, and drink some water before your appointment! The better your body is prepared, the easier the tattooing process will be for both of us. This will help manage pain, adrenaline, and overall comfort.

2. Avoid Alcohol: Refrain from drinking the day before your appointment. Alcohol dehydrates you and thins your blood, making the tattoo process more challenging. Plus, if you've been out drinking, you probably havent gotten a good night’s sleep.

3. Numbing Products: If you wish to use numbing products, I prefer my clients to use ones that are epinephrine-free. I recommend Mad Rabbit Relieve numbing cream.

4. Keep Your Skin in Good Condition: Avoid sunburns, cuts, scrapes, abrasions, and razor burn. These can negatively affect the tattooing process and healing. There’s no need to pre-shave, just keep your skin healthy!

Thank you for reviewing these guidelines. Following them will help make your appointment more comfortable and ensure your tattoo heals well.

Protect your investment by taking care of yourself and your tattoo. Enjoy the process, and love your new artwork!
