From OKC to Richmond: Big Wins at Tattoo Fest and Anime Ink
OKC Tattoo Fest & Anime Ink Richmond Close Out the 2025 Tour on a High Note
The 2025 tattoo convention season wrapped up with two unforgettable stops — OKC Tattoo Fest and Anime Ink Richmond — and both delivered incredible experiences, big wins, and memories I won’t forget.
OKC Tattoo Fest: Family, Fun, and First Place
Oklahoma City was an absolute blast. The trip doubled as a chance to visit my sister and let my son meet his aunt, which made it even more special. Between the science museum, the zoo, and some of the best food OKC has to offer, it was the perfect mix of work and play.
At the convention, I got to meet and work alongside some incredibly talented artists. It still blows my mind that people will trust me to come across the country to create something special for them.
And the tattoos paid off — literally.
🏆 1st Place – Best Medium Black & Grey with an illustrated Houndoom
🎨 2nd Place – Best Small Color with a Stained Glass Link
Anime Ink Richmond: A Dream Come True
Then it was off to Richmond for Anime Ink, the show I’ve been looking forward to all year.
Ever since I started specializing in anime and pop culture tattoos, Anime Ink has been the convention I’ve had my sights set on. It’s where the best of the best gather — artists whose work I follow, study, and draw inspiration from.
Competing alongside them felt like the Olympics of tattooing, and walking away with a win made it even sweeter:
🥈 2nd Place – Best Video Game with a Gyarados Hyper Beam tattoo
What’s Next
To every client who trusted me to travel across the country to work on their tattoo — thank you.
And to everyone back home in Toledo who keeps bringing me creative, challenging ideas that help me grow — you’re the reason I keep leveling up.
The 2025 convention tour is officially wrapped, but I’m already gearing up for 2026. The year kicks off with Ghost Expo in Savannah, Georgia this January, with more dates soon to be announced. Follow along on Instagram for the latest travel dates and booking updates.
In the meantime, I’m back home in Toledo, Ohio, booking for the remainder of the year.
Fall and winter are the best times to get tattooed — cooler temps, easier healing, and no sun damage.
If you’ve been sitting on an idea, now’s the perfect time to make it happen.
